Completed migration of legacy content to new Concrete5 site
After a furious couple of days of cutting-and-pasting; I've transferred the old content from my legacy (Notepad, hand-crafted HTML & JavaScript) site into the Concrete5 Content Management System (CMS)
The immediate advantage is the ease of information entry - it really is a point and click!
Page/site organisation is also incredibly easy - just move a page in the backend and the associated links and menus are updated!
Having used Typo3 in anger (i.e for "real") and played with Drupal plus a few others; I can honestly say this is the easiest CMS I've come across...ever!
I'm not saying that Concrete is a world-beater (those other systems still have a rightful place); just that for the home user or SME you'll be hard-pushed to beat Concrete...
...or tell me otherwise?
