Mark B & Blade | The Unknown | Hostile Takeover (feat. Westwood) |
UK Hip-Hop at its best The best scratching I've heard in years.. "...Turntablistic...." |
Tony Touch | The Piece Maker | The Return Of The Diaz Brothers |
Gang Starr, Flipmode Squad, Wu-Tang Clan, Eminem, Xzibit, Big Daddy Kane... All featured on this excellent album in a: "before they were famous" style.. Albums like this only come along every thousand years... If you see it; don't think... Just buy it !!! |
Wyclef Jean | The Ecleftic (2 Sides II A Book) |
Low Income |
|
Roni Size.. Reprazent | In The Mode | Railing Pt. 2 |
Another slice of Drum 'n Bass heaven with a definite Jazz feel in the background |
De La Soul | Art Official Intelligence: Mosaic Thump |
Set The Mood Oooh |
Far too long a break between albums Dated in parts... But the likes of Busta Rhymes and Xzibit give it the bite (and kick) it needs.. |
Jay-Z | The Blueprint | Izzo (H.O.V.A) |
I bought this on a whim while shopping one day; which is something I don't normally do... This album reminds me why... The single (Izzo) is the only real outstanding track... Jay-Zs' singles show some real potential, but it isn't shown on this album. He also has quite a following on this side of the "water", but sorry to say I ain't joining 'em... |
